Say hello to Chibi Clash!!
When our NFT project was first created, we struggled with finding a name that was both original and memorable. Chibi Legends, Chibi Warriors, Chibi Kingdoms… many names were already used by previous gaming or NFT projects, and domains/social media handles were already taken. Ultimately, we took inspiration from Bored Apes Yacht Club and came up with Chibi Legends of the Warring Kingdoms, a name that we felt captured the universe that we were building and hopefully would be memorable both as an abbreviated name (like BAYC) or simply as Chibi Legends.
However, what we encountered instead was an identity crisis: people did not know what to refer to our project as (is it “CLOWK”? “Chibis”?), and the name did not reflect what we felt the project was about: a gaming world of adorable warriors battling against one another on their path to building their dream kingdom. Ultimately, we have decided that while “Chibi” is still the essence of our brand, we need to combine the word with something that resonates more with our gameplay… a clash of champions on the battlefield. Thus, from today onwards, we will be known as:

The names of all our Collections on OpenSea will now be updated (the genesis NFTs will still be Chibi Legends as they are in fact legends! But much more on that in a future update)

This is just the first of many exciting announcements to come before the end of this month (we still have a few days!). With this new identity, we are now ready to take things to the next level and build an iconic Web3 gaming universe starting with our auto battler title. Big plans are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to take everyone along for the ride - stay tuned!
